Black Aestheticism Discussed at Holy Cross

WORCESTER, Mass. – Marland Buckner will give a lecture entitled "Is There a Politics to the New Black Aesthetic?" on Friday, April 30, at 4 p.m., in Room 519 of the Hogan Campus Center at Holy Cross.

Buckner is a former senior policy advisor to Rep. Harold Ford Jr. (D-Tenn.) and former senior analyst for social policy at the Progressive Policy Institute in Washington, D.C.

Sponsored by the African American Studies Program and the Political Science Department, the lecture is free and open to the public.
