On Being a Catholic: A Lifelong Journey

WORCESTER, Mass. – Joseph H. Maguire, an associate professor, assistant dean and chair of the education program at Holy Cross, will give a lecture entitled "On Being a Catholic" on Wednesday, Nov. 10 at 7:30 p.m. in Room 519 of the Hogan Campus Center at Holy Cross.

This lecture, a faith sharing in thanksgiving for the rites of baptism, will focus on what being a Catholic has meant and what it means now.

A 1958 graduate of Holy Cross, Maguire has been a member of the faculty at Holy Cross since 1962.  He attended St. John's Preparatory High School in Worcester and earned both his master's degree and Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind.
