Barry Kingston and the Screaming Souls

Barry Kingston and the Screaming Souls will give a concert at 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 6, in Crossroads, located in the basement of the Hogan Campus Center. The concert is free and open to Holy Cross and Consortium students with college IDs. Led by singer-songwriter Barry Kingston, the Screaming Souls has been establishing itself on the club scene since 1997. Comprised of guitarist Joe Boyle, bassist John O'Boyle and drummer Jason Arnold, the band’s music is described as a mixture of the Rolling Stones, Smashing Pumpkins, Sly Stone and U2. The Screaming Souls recently released their debut album, "Shakin' From The Trees," on J-Bird Records, which has been receiving rave reviews. The album is described as an eclectic blend of sounds that mirror Kingston’s unique musical vision of modern rock.
