WORCESTER, Mass. – "For the Greater Glory of God," a dance theatre interpretation of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola, will be performed at Holy Cross on Tuesday, March 20, at 7:30 p.m. in the Brooks Concert Hall. It will be repeated as an abbreviated show on Monday, March 26, at 12 p.m. in the Hogan Ballroom. Performances are free and open to the public.
Renowned for its annual performance of "A Dancer's Christmas," the Boston Liturgical Dance Ensemble is an internationally acclaimed group of professional and student dancers committed to the exploration of religious expression through dance. Created and choreographed by Rev. Robert VerEecke, S.J., Jesuit Artist-in-Residence at Boston College, Pastor of St. Ignatius Church in Chestnut Hill, and Director of the Boston Liturgical Dance Ensemble, "For the Greater Glory of God" brings alive the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola with renewed imagination and spiritual impact.
