Women's Studies Month Panel at Holy Cross

WORCESTER, Mass. – There will be a "Life Pathways of Women in Psychology Panel" on Wednesday, March 28, at 3:30 p.m. in Rooms 403 and 519 of the Hogan Campus Center. Three women with careers in psychology will speak on their career paths and current positions. Held in celebration of Women's Studies Month, the panel is free and open to the public.

The speakers are as follows:

  • Rosalind Barnett, Ph.D., is from Brandeis University (Waltham, Mass.). A psychologist, she is the author of "He Works/She Works: How Two-Income Families Are Happy, Healthy, and Thriving."
  • Sumru Erkut, Ph.D., is a psychologist from The Wellesley Centers for Women (Mass.), and the director of new study on women leaders through the Winds of Change Foundation.
  • Janie Victoria Ward, Ph.D., is a psychologist from Simmons College (Boston, Mass.) and Harvard School of Education. She is the author of "The Skin We’re in: Teaching Our Children to Be: Socially Smart, Emotionally Strong, Spiritually Connected" and "Souls Looking Back: Life Stories of Growing Up Black."
