"Chicago" to be Performed at Holy Cross

Chicago, presented by the Holy Cross theatre department, will be performed this weekend, April 5, 6 and 7 at 8 p.m. in Fenwick Theatre.

The play, a satirical comedy, was written in 1926 by Maurine Watkins. It portrays an American city in the jazz-stricken 1920s, where beautiful women could kill their lovers and get away with murder just because, as one journalist explains, "Justice ain't so blind in Chicago."

Tickets are available in the Hogan Campus Center from 11:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. this Monday through Friday, and are $7 for members of the Holy Cross community and $10 for general admission. Tickets can also be purchased by calling 508/793-2496. Last weekend's performance sold out - so get tickets now!
