WORCESTER, Mass. – The Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Art Gallery at the College of the Holy Cross is presenting a new exhibit this fall titled, "Imaging Time." Focused on the theme of time, the exhibit features photographs, paintings, prints, sculpture and timepieces from the Renaissance to the present. It will be on display from Sept. 4 to Oct. 27.

There will be an artist's talk by Daniel Ranalli of Boston University on Tuesday, Sept. 18, at 4 p.m., followed by an exhibition opening reception from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Both events are free and open to the public.

In this exhibition, time and its influence are addressed from multiple perspectives. The exhibit is organized in five sections: Timepieces: the Democratization of Time; Personifications of Time; Death and Finite Time; Movement, Sequence and Metamorphoses; The Fleeting Moment; and Ruins and the Passage of Time.
