Acoustic Guitarist Howie Day to Perform

Howie Day will give a concert at 9 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, in Crossroads, located in the basement of the Hogan Campus Center. The concert is free and open to the Holy Cross community and Worcester Consortium students only.

Based out of Belmont, Mass., 20-year old Day has been performing his blend of acoustic pop to audiences all over the country. He has performed over 200 shows in the last year and has shared the stage with acts like Jewel, Guster, Eve 6, Sister Hazel, Vertical Horizon and Hootie & The Blowfish.

Day's performances have drawn comparisons to artists such as Dave Matthews and Duncan Sheik. His constant touring has started to develop a growing following throughout the Northeast. In November 2000, Day released his first full-length CD, Australia.
