WORCESTER, Mass. – There will be an organ concert on Sunday, September 29, at 3:00 p.m. in the St. Joseph Memorial Chapel at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass. The concert is free and open to the public.
As part of the Holy Cross Chapel Artists Series, the concert will feature organist Armin Schoof. The program will include works by German organists Buxtehude, Schoof, Tundar and Hugo Distler.
Schoof is a professor at the Hochschule für Musik in Lübeck, Germany. He also serves as the music director at the Church of St. Jacobi and as the director of the Kantorei at St. Jacobi. He has performed in concerts throughout Europe and the United States and has recorded his work extensively.
