WORCESTER, Mass. – On Thursday, Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. the Bishop Healy Multicultural Society at the College of the Holy Cross will hold an AIDS Compassion and Awareness Banquet in the Hogan Campus Center Ballroom.
The evening is an opportunity for the Holy Cross and Worcester communities to build solidarity and to raise awareness of the effects of AIDS on the world. Speakers for the events include representatives from AIDS Project Worcester, Holy Cross administration and members of the Bishop Healy Multicultural Society.
The College will donate all of the proceeds made from the ticket sales to the AIDS Project Worcester. Ticket prices are $10 for students with Holy Cross ID meal invalidation, $20 for the Holy Cross community and $25 for the Worcester community. Tickets can be purchased by calling 508.767.4070.
The banquet is part of a week-long series of AIDS compassion and awareness events sponsored by the Bishop Healy Multicultural Society.
