WORCESTER, Mass. – On Friday, Dec. 6 from 7-8 p.m. in Haberlin Hall, the College of the Holy Cross will present "Hogwarts at Holy Cross: A Science Extravaganza" for students in first through eighth grades and their families. The event is free and open to the public.
The science exhibition will feature a variety of chemistry experiments and will be fashioned after the "potions" classes offered at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the Harry Potter series.
An ice cream social in the Swords Hall Atrium will follow the show. This event is co-sponsored by Student Ambassadors Developing External Relations (S.A.D.E.R.) and the chemistry department.
