Student Fashion Show to Celebrate Black History Month at Holy Cross

WORCESTER, Mass. – The fifth annual Black & Gold Dinner and Fashion Show at the College of the Holy Cross will take place on Friday, Feb. 7, in the Hogan Campus Center Ballroom. Seating will begin at 6 p.m. and the fashion show will begin at 7 p.m. This semi-formal event, held during Black History Month, is a celebration of Black history and culture.

The models are Holy Cross students who represent all classes, shapes, sizes and diverse ethnic backgrounds. They will wear the latest urban, casual, formal, seasonal and career wear donated by local stores including Skins New York, Mr. Tux, Players, Olympia Sport, Casual Corner, Macy's and TJX. Additional entertainment for the evening includes dance, song and rap performances by Holy Cross Students.

Tickets for college students with an ID are $10; a table of ten may be purchased for $75. Tickets for the general public are $15; a table of ten may be purchased for $125.

The event is sponsored by the Black Student Union at Holy Cross.
