Organ Concert at Holy Cross

WORCESTER, Mass. – There will be an organ concert on Sunday, February 23 at 3:00 p.m. in the St. Joseph Memorial Chapel at the College of the Holy Cross. The concert is free and open to the public. St. Joseph Chapel is handicap accessible.

As part of the Holy Cross Chapel Artists Series, the concert will feature organist Lionel Rogg. The program will include original works as well as works by Bach, Buxtehude and Bruhns.

Lionel Rogg is considered one of the world's leading concert artists. He is professor emeritus of organ at the Geneva Conservatory and organist for Victoria Hall, both in Geneva, Switzerland. Internationally acclaimed for his recordings of the complete works of Bach, which have been awarded several prizes and distinctions, Rogg has performed around the world and served on several major international organ competition juries. In addition to careers as a performer and teacher, Rogg is also a distinguished composer. His music has been performed worldwide and has been recorded extensively.
