Organ Concert at Holy Cross

WORCESTER, Mass. – There will be an organ concert on Sunday, March 16 at 3:00 p.m. in the St. Joseph Memorial Chapel at the College of the Holy Cross. The concert is free and open to the public. St. Joseph Chapel is handicap accessible.

As part of the Holy Cross Chapel Artists Series, the concert will feature organist Peter Kranefoed. The program will include works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Dietrich Buxtehude and Johann Adam Reincken.

Peter Kranefoed finished his studies in church music at the Hochschule fur Musik in Stuttgart, Germany. He is currently a candidate for Boston Conservatory's prestigious Artist's Diploma. The winner of the 1992 International Organ Competition in Ljubljana, Slovenia, he has made a solo recording of French and German Romantic organ works and the Durufle: Requiem.
