Concert at Holy Cross to Promote Value and Sanctity of Life - Christian Singer/Songwriter Sean Forrest to Perform

WORCESTER, Mass. – Sean Forrest, acclaimed Christian singer/songwriter, will perform with his band at the College of the Holy Cross in "Celebrating Life!" – a concert event being sponsored by the Holy Cross Students for Life and the St. Bernadette Parish Respect for Life ministry. The concert will take place on Friday, Sept. 26, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the Hogan Center Ballroom. Admission to the concert is $10 per ticket in advance and $15 at the door, with a $40 family maximum.

Forrest performs across the country before tens of thousands of people each year at a variety of youth conferences, music festivals, concerts and retreats. His spirited and engaging musical style reaches out to an audience to bring them to their feet, while delivering a message that reaches straight to their hearts.

"After seeing Sean and his band in action several times and getting to know what they stand for in their hearts, we knew that we were being called to make this concert with them a reality for the local area," said Leslie O'Brien, co-chair of the Respect for Life ministry team at St. Bernadette Parish in Northborough, Mass. "More people need to be built up and confirmed in their belief that life is a gift meant to be treasured, and Sean's powerful music, witnessing, humor and enthusiasm are sure to inspire this crowd to live out that message."

Sean Forrest is the founder of "Movin' With the Spirit," a nonprofit organization dedicated to proclaiming God's Word and eternal love, helping teens turn to Jesus to fill their needs, and working with the physically challenged. He has produced four albums and has written two books, titled From Happy Hour to Holy Hour and Freedom, which highlight his ongoing conversion and the world's search for truth.

Proceeds from the concert will go toward putting up pro-life billboards in the local area. A range of CDs, books and refreshments will also be available for purchase during and after the show.
