Edward P. Jones '72 will be reading from his The Known World, which was just named a finalist for the National Book Award, on Wednesday, Oct. 29 at Newtonville Books, 296 Walnut St., Newton Mass. (617-244-6619) at 7:30 p.m.
Jones was a National Book Award Fiction Finalist for his 1992 debut, Lost in the City, a collection of stories which won the PEN-Hemingway Foundation Award for best first fiction.
