She Loves Me is the story of Georg and Amalia, two feuding clerks in a European perfumery in the 1930s, who secretly find solace in their anonymous romantic pen pals, not knowing they’re actually writing each other. The musical is based on the film The Shop Around the Corner and was remade into the 1998 film You’ve Got Mail.

The show’s unforgettable songs, “Tonight at Eight,” “Ice Cream” and the title song, “She Loves Me” are by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick, whose collaboration also produced Fiddler on the Roof.
