Mexico Meal Auction

Bid Online For Dinner With Holy Cross Faculty and Staff

As participants in the Mexico Meal Auction fundraiser, Holy Cross faculty and staff have agreed to prepare meals for students in their homes, or take them out to dinner in Worcester. Don't miss this great opportunity to get to know your professors (and other Holy Cross staff) outside of the classroom, and support a great cause in the process!

The Mexico Meal Auction is the primary fundraiser for the Mexico Immersion Program, a two-week, faith-based, reverse-mission program that provides students with an opportunity to walk with the poor of Mexico and experience the reality of life for many people in Latin America. The program is run through the Chaplains’ Office, and is currently in its 14th year.

The Meal Auction makes its online debut this year. Students may place bids online before the auction, which will take place at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 26 in Crossroads Pub. Online bidding will continue until Wednesday, Feb 25 at 12 p.m.

If you are the high bidder on any meal, you will be contacted Wednesday night. You must attend the auction on Thursday night to defend your bid, because the high bid from the online auction will be the starting bid on Thursday night.

To place a bid, log onto Blackboard and click on the Mexico Meal Auction announcement.

You may also bid in person at the Meal Auction on Thursday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. in Crossroads.
