WORCESTER, Mass. – WHO: Men, women and children of all ages in Worcester – specifically students and members of the elder population.
WHAT: Intergenerational Dance, featuring live big band music provided by the Holy Cross Jazz Ensemble, dance exhibitions by the Holy Cross Ballroom Dancers and Joann Warren Studio dancers. Free food, raffles and prizes.
WHERE: College of the Holy Cross Hogan Campus Center, Ballroom
WHEN: Sunday, March 28 from 2 – 5 p.m.
WHY: Sponsored by the Colleges of Worcester Consortium Gerontology Studies Program, the event is a great opportunity to bridge the social gap between elders and students. Last year 250 people attended the event.
