Holy Cross Professor to Address Global Warming on Radio Show

WORCESTER, Mass. – Why are Americans still debating whether global warming is occurring when scientists around the world agree that human activity is creating significant climate change? Loren R. Cass, assistant professor of political science at the College of the Holy Cross, will address this question when he joins host Jim Hannon on “Worcester: Academically Speaking” on May 27 at 7:30 a.m. on WTAG AM 580.

Cass is the author of The Failures of American and European Climate Policy (2006: SUNY Press). He will explain why the U.S. has struggled to address climate change, the need for international agreements, and new directions for U.S. energy policies.
