Blog: Holy Cross Is Awesome in So Many Ways, Rondeau ’13 Writes

NAME Sarah Rondeau ’13

HOMETOWN South Hadley, Mass.

AREAS OF STUDY Studies in World Literature

HIGHLIGHTS FROM HER FIRST YEAR “Honestly I was a bit nervous coming to Holy Cross freshman year. Throughout high school I had always been quiet and shy. However, I decided to put my best foot forward and allow Holy Cross to bring out the real me. Now that freshman year is over I can say it has been the best experience of my life — not to mention the most fun. Holy Cross has exceeded my expectations in every way possible. Here are a few highlights of my freshman year: made a ton of new friends; Spring Weekend; Battle of the Bands; and declared my major.”

ACTIVITIES Greeter in Admissions, prospective student day host; “tweeted” for Admissions; Student Marketing and Communications Advisory Group; Student Programs for Urban Development; prebusiness program; internship with alumnus Ted Pidcock ’88 at Teddy the Dog Apparel.

WHY SHE’S BLOGGING “I have a strong connection to Holy Cross, and I want to share my experiences with prospective students to show them what Holy Cross really has to offer.”
