Far East Movement and J. Cole Co-Headline Spring Concert

Holy Cross Battle of the Bands winner to open show

L.A. rappers Far East Movement and Jay-Z's protégé J. Cole will co-headline this year’s Spring Concert on May 9 at 8 p.m. in the Hart Recreation Center. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Battle of the Bands winner Sarcozy, featuring second-year students Chris Theobalt (lead guitar and vocals), Joe Plantamura (bass guitar, vocals), Andy Biedlingmaier (drums), Pete McStravick (lead vocals), Mike Sullivan (rhythm guitar) and Caitlin Murphy (vocals), will serve as the opening act.

Tickets can be purchased at the Holy Cross Bookstore or online. Tickets are $20 for Holy Cross students with an ID (limit two tickets per student) and $25 for Holy Cross faculty and staff and students in the Colleges of Worcester Consortium. Tickets for the general public are $30. Tickets are not being sold by phone.

In the last few years, headlining acts for the annual Spring Concert at Holy Cross, sponsored by the Campus Activities Board, have included Drake, Jason Mraz, Lupe Fiasco and Guster.
