There’s no time quite like the Christmas season on the Holy Cross campus.

To get a taste of what the most wonderful time of the year feels like on Mount St. James, watch this video with the College Choir, led by guest conductor Christopher Shepard, performing “Lo, How A Rose E’er Blooming” during the annual Advent Festival of Lessons and Carols on Dec. 8. You’ll see a flurry of festive campus scenes float by, including the crèche on the Dinand Library steps and Christmas tree on O’Kane Porch.

Enjoyed the sound & scenes of Christmas time at Holy Cross. I sang this piece (TTBB) while
in college and was delighted to sing it again along with the HC choir. Great job. Please post it again next Dec.

  2. Michael Afflitto says:

We have received several videos this Christmas. None have touched us like this one has. As we viewed this my wife and I both mentioned how fortunate our son is to have the opportunity of an education at Holy Cross. A true blessing has been bestowed upon our family. Thank you. We are most grateful to be a part of the Holy Cross family. Merry Christmas!

  3. Tom Healey, '76 says:

A wonderful Christmas gift, and like the best presents, unexpected and incredibly generous and beautiful. It brought back the very best of memories and those that are uniquely Holy Cross — shared by every generation of HC students in their own way, but always the same in a way. Thank you.

  4. Jenny Mykytenko says:
