In an article for Foreign Affairs, Vickie A. Langohr, associate professor of political science at the College of the Holy Cross and expert in politics of the Middle East, argues that despite the foundation of political progress Egyptian women have gradually gained, women still have a bigger battle ahead.

“The revolution may have come to Egypt,” wrote Langohr, “But for women, it may mean anything but progress.”
