'Two Worcester, Mass. college students vying for African internships'

NECN/Channel 3

Holy Cross sophomore Alexandra (Sasha) Fairchok and Clark University senior Siobhan Kelley talk to NECN/Channel 3 about being two of the top 50 finalists to participate in the Chegg for Good & ONE summer internship in Africa. Fairchok and Kelley were selected from a pool of over 1,550 students who submitted essays about why they’re passionate about social change, improving access to education, fighting extreme poverty and what they’re currently doing on campus to fight it. Out of the 50 college students currently in the running, only eight will be selected for this internship. Winners will be selected through an online voting process.
