'Holy Cross students teach music at Nativity School'

Telegram & Gazette

The Telegram & Gazette highlights a new program started by College of the Holy Cross student Mark Legare ’14. The Nativity School of Worcester’s Crusaders Musical Outreach Program, which started as an observation for Legare, transformed into a weekly program, in which Legare and five other Holy Cross students instruct personalized musical lessons after school.

According to the reporter: “To Mr. Legare, it's the fun of teaching something he loves to kids who are excited and enthusiastic as well, but he's also aware, as are the Nativity School faculty and staff, that the program is adding something valuable to the middle schoolers' education."
