WHERE SHE’S INTERNING “I will be working in the corporate tax department at Time Warner in New York with executives on projects involving tax planning, compliance and various aspects of federal, state and foreign income tax. As part of a team of interns I will be learning the ropes of a global corporation involved in media and entertainment.”
INTERNSHIP DURATION May 29- August 6
WHAT SHE’S MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO “I am looking forward to living in the Big Apple and experiencing a work environment in which I can apply the tax skills that I just learned in the classroom. Oh, and I am looking forward to my very own cubicle, more details to follow!”
WHY SHE’S BLOGGING “I have never been one to not want to share all the juicy details!”
CAREER GOAL “I hope that being an intern in a global corporation will help me further develop my career goals. Last summer I worked for the federal government and learned quite a bit. And I hope to try something completely different next summer as well. So to be honest, I do not know exactly where all of these experiences will take my career but I have always been inspired by Abraham Lincoln who said, ‘Whatever you are, be a good one.’ ”
