Good afternoon, my name is Ken McNickles. I am the chef of the HC Jesuit community.
My wife said I should have been a lawyer or a monk. I guess being chef for the Jesuits is the closest I’ll get. (I still don’t know what she meant by that)
I would like to thank the inauguration committee for the opportunity to speak on this special day.
I would also like to thank the committee for all the hard work leading up to this day.
As chef, I have had the privilege of working with four presidents
along with the Jesuit community.
They welcomed me into their home and let me become a part of their family.
On behalf of the Holy Cross employees, we would like to extend a warm welcome to Fr. Boroughs and invite him into our family and community.
Kenneth McNickles is dining manager in the Jesuit residence.
