The No. 20 Holy Cross men’s hockey team will take on No. 7 North Dakota in the Subway Holiday Classic on Friday, Jan. 4 (8:30 p.m.) and Saturday, Jan. 5 (8 p.m.). Audio and video of both games will be streamed live at www.UNDSports.com. Following both games, scores and highlights will be posted on goholycross.com.

With their 5-4 victory against nationally-ranked Yale at the New England Sports Center on Dec. 30, Holy Cross improved their record to 10-4-2 overall this season, the best start the Crusaders have had since 2003-04. The win also secured their No. 20 spot in this week’s USCHO poll marking the first time Holy Cross has been nationally ranked since 2006.

This weekend’s contests will be played at the Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, N.D., where Holy Cross pulled out a 4-3 overtime win versus Minnesota during the 2006 NCAA tournament in one of the greatest upsets in the history of college ice hockey.
