U.S. Sen. John Kerry visited Holy Cross today as part of a farewell tour of Massachusetts before formally stepping down from the office to become secretary of state. Hundreds of attendees — including U.S. Rep. Jim McGovern (D-Mass.), Worcester officials, longtime supporters, students, faculty and staff from the College, as well as members of the community — packed the Hogan Campus Center Ballroom to hear Kerry speak at the public event.
Kerry also made stops in Springfield and Boston to visit with constituents and thank them for their friendship and support over the years.[gallery orderby="title"]
