Video: Holy Cross Students Show School Spirit on Purple Pride Day

Video by Kate Benjamin '15

If you were on the Holy Cross campus Feb. 15 you may have noticed a little more purple than usual. That's because members of the Purple Key Society woke up at 5 a.m. to decorate the campus for the College's annual Purple Pride Day. Cookies, candy and hot chocolate were available in academic buildings in the morning and early afternoon.

School spirit spilled into the weekend as students dressed in purple to cheer on Crusader athletes on Feb. 16. This year, the purple pride filling the Hart Center was enough for women's basketball to overtake American 73-63, while Connecticut iced men's hockey 4-1.
