Numerous repair and maintenance projects take place on campus over the summer

Brooks Concert Hall is also receiving a renovation.


Tree and shrub landscaping was reworked around the cemetery area, where Jesuits who lived and worked at Holy Cross are buried. The work was undertaken to open up the heavily used sidewalks around the cemetery that were overgrown.

O'Kane Porch is being renovated.


The Dinand Library roof is being replaced, and a roof drain is being installed.


The Main Reading Room in Dinand Library receives a fresh coat of paint.


Improvements are made to the lower softball fields.


The Hogan and Loyola parking lot were repaved. The wood guardrail at Loyola was also replaced.


New dasher boards were installed in the Hart Center ice rink.


Mulledy Hall's lower roof is being replaced.


Heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment on the roof of O'Neil Hall is being removed and replaced. Steel supports and a new roof are being added.


Stairs adjacent to Brooks Concert Hall were rebuilt.

The sidewalks in Kimball Quad were rebuilt.


Repairs are being made to the smokestack on Kimball Hall.


The parking garage receives some masonry repairs and maintenance.

Several restrooms in the Hogan Campus Center are being renovated.


The heating, ventilation and air conditioning wall units are being replaced in the rooms of Loyola Hall.


The ceiling on the second floor of Kimball Hall, home to the Food Court, is being replaced.


The Beaven Hall entrance is being restored.


The air conditioning units are being replaced at Ciampi Hall.


The gutters and downspouts are being replaced at Alumni Hall.

Students, faculty, and staff who’ve been away from Holy Cross might notice some changes when they return to campus.

Under the auspices of the Physical Plant department, crews worked throughout the summer to maintain facilities, grounds and infrastructure.
