The Princeton Review named the College of the Holy Cross one of 75 “Best Value” private colleges for 2014. Based on institutional data and student opinion surveys from 650 colleges and universities, schools were selected according to several criteria including academics, cost, and financial aid.
Highlighting Holy Cross’ “generous” financial aid package, the Princeton Review notes, “No student or family should be dissuaded from applying to Holy Cross because of the price tag…Holy Cross meets 100 percent of a student’s demonstrated financial need with a combination of scholarship grants, loans, and work-study.”
Robert Franek, senior vice president, publisher and lead author at the Princeton Review says the colleges on the list should be commended for “their stellar academics and their exceptional affordability as evidenced by their generous financial aid awards or their comparatively low sticker prices—or both.”
