As the viral campaign to raise awareness and funds to “strike out” ALS has been sweeping the internet, the “ice bucket challenge” even reached the Jesuit community at College of the Holy Cross after being completed by the Admission Office. The video, which was posted to social media, reached more than 42,000 Facebook users, and received about 1,800 likes, comments and shares.
In support of the cause, the Holy Cross Jesuit community will be making a donation to St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester to support the care of individuals with ALS.
