In its 15th anniversary of celebrating the top business leaders of the Central/MetroWest region, Worcester’s Business Journal ranked two College of the Holy Cross alums in its 2014 "40 Under  Forty" feature list.

Elizabeth Wambui ’09 earned her degree in political science while at the College and remains an active member of the Holy Cross Club of Greater Worcester. Wambui, who is a major gifts associate at the American Red Cross of Central Massachusetts, says her ultimate career goal is to be an executive of a non-profit.

Neil Peterson ’04 graduated Cum Laude and was recently named a partner at the law firm of Pojani Hurley & Ritter, LLP. Peterson serves as assistant coach to the Moot Court program at the college.

Since Worcester Business Journal  launched the annual program in 2000, more than 560 business executives have earned this title. Wambui and Peterson will be honored at a ceremony on Sept. 18.
