WHY SHE CHOSE ARGENTINA “I chose to study in Argentina to improve my Spanish and learn more about Latin American culture. I wanted to be in a big city and Universidad del Salvador is located right in the heart of Buenos Aires.”

WHAT SHE’S MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO “Seeing the natural beauty of Argentina. I hope to explore sites like Iguazu Falls and Salta.”

WHY SHE’S BLOGGING “I’m blogging to show others all that South America has to offer. I also want to encourage other premedical students to study abroad and let them know that it is possible for them to manage the premed course load and make time for a semester away.”

SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT Holland received a Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship, which offers grants to U.S. citizen undergraduate students of limited financial means to pursue academic studies or credit-bearing, career-oriented internships abroad. Such international exchange is intended to better prepare U.S. students to assume significant roles in an increasingly global economy and interdependent world.
