From Mount St. James to the Financial District, Two Holy Cross Alums Share Apartment in New York City

The New York Times

A recent story in the New York Times real estate section, features Matthew DeSimone and Matthew Murawski, both members of the College of the Holy Cross class of 2014. The pair were roommates on Mount St. James and now continue to live together in the financial district of Manhattan.

Murawski, an economics major, who now works at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, and DeSimone, a religious studies major, who works for ACE Insurance Group, commuted from the suburbs for a year. They both knew they were compatible roommates and had intended all along to share a city apartment. “I didn’t want to move in until we both were working and got our feet down and were making some money,” Mr. Murawski said.

The story chronicles their apartment hunting in New York City.
