Holy Cross to Celebrate Family Weekend Oct. 23-25

As fall settles in on the Hill, preparations are underway for Family Weekend 2015. Holy Cross is excited to welcome parents, grandparents, siblings, and other family members to campus Oct. 23-25.

“The weekend will be a great opportunity for Crusader families to connect and enjoy the beautiful fall season on Mount St. James,” says Cathleen Doane, associate director of Student Involvement and director of Orientation and Transition. “There are a variety of activities planned throughout the weekend for all ages.”

Highlights include:

  • President’s Hour: Join Rev. Philip L. Boroughs, S.J., president of the College, and his leadership team for an informative discussion about the College and current initiatives.
  • Athletic competitions: Cheer on our dedicated student-athletes.
  • Crusaders Against Cancer 5K: Participate in this inaugural morning road race on campus.
  • Performances: Attend one of the many performances scheduled throughout the weekend showcasing an array of student talent.
  • Art exhibitions: Explore art both on campus at the Cantor Art Gallery — "Katrina Then & Now: Artists as Witness" is the exhibition currently on view — and off campus at the Worcester Art Museum.
  • Worship: Join us for Catholic Mass or the Protestant Interdenominational Service.
