Washington Monthly Ranks Holy Cross Among Top Liberal Arts Colleges in the Country

College also makes ‘Best Bang for the Buck’ list

Washington Monthly ranked the College of the Holy Cross No. 26 on its 2016 list of “Top 30 Liberal Arts Colleges.” According to the publication, Washington Monthly measured schools “based on what they are doing for the country—by improving social mobility, producing research, and promoting public service.”

Holy Cross also ranked No. 23 on Washington Monthly’s list of “Best Bang for the Buck Northeast Colleges.” According to the press release, Washington Monthly highlighted “colleges that are doing the best job of helping non-wealthy students attain marketable degrees at affordable prices.”

Holy Cross is one of a select group of colleges and universities that accept students regardless of their ability to pay (“need-blind admissions”) and then meet 100 percent of their demonstrated need.
