USA Today Ranks Holy Cross No. 5 Among the 10 Best Colleges in Massachusetts

According to USA Today College, the College of the Holy Cross ranks No. 5 on “The 10 best colleges in Massachusetts” list. The national news outlet partnered with College Factual on the rankings, which looked at 64 schools in Massachusetts. College Factual ranks Holy Cross No. 35 overall out of 1,387 Best Colleges nationwide.

Harvard University, Amherst College, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Olin College take the top four spots on the list of best colleges in Massachusetts, while Tufts University, Williams College, Babson College, Boston College and Brandeis University take up spots six through ten after Holy Cross.

USA Today College notes Holy Cross “has an excellent student to faculty ratio that provides students with a top education due to small classrooms and collaborative work between students and faculty,” before also mentioning that the College is “considered one of the top Catholic schools in the country.”

College Factual’s ranking methodology is highly focused on data related to outcomes, such as loan default rates, graduation rates and average starting salaries of graduates.
