Holy Cross Alumnus and Coach CEO Helps Popular Brand Think ‘Outside the Bag’

About three years ago, the popular handbag brand Coach saw its sales plummeting. Now, according to an article by Fortune, the company is making a remarkable recovery under CEO and College of the Holy Cross alumnus Victor Luis ’88.

“Since taking Coach’s reins in 2014, the 50-year-old executive has done what few retail CEOs have been able to do: tapped into his company’s successful past to help it compete in a difficult present,” the article says about Luis, a political science major while at Holy Cross.
