Holy Cross to Host Student Network Conference

WORCESTER, Mass. – A conference involving approximately 250 college student leaders from across the state will be held at Holy Cross on Saturday, Nov. 21, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:40 p.m., in the Hogan Campus Center.

The 3rd annual Student Network Conference, co-sponsored by Holy Cross and the Massachusetts Campus Compact (MACC), is entitled "Beyond Boundaries: Students Uniting Through Service."

The conference will allow students to share innovative strategies and explore new ideas in the area of community service.  In addition to a keynote address by Aaron Lieberman, founder of Jumpstart, a nonprofit organization that engages young people in service to their communities, numerous workshops will be offered by representatives from colleges and universities around the state.  Robert Lewis, Jr. of City Year will also address the conference and a resource fair will be a major attraction.
