WORCESTER, Mass. – Out Loud II, a public reading of Toni Morrison's Beloved, will take place on Thursday, Dec. 3, from 9 a.m-6:30 p.m., at Holy Cross in the first-floor Lobby of the Hogan Campus Center.
Students and faculty will participate in the innovative program, reading 10-minute sections of the critically acclaimed novel. Participants will be sponsored for each minute they read. Proceeds raised from this program will finance future issues of the literary journal published by Sigma Tau Delta.
The first Out Loud program, which was held in October, featured a reading of Milton's Paradise Lost.
