General Manager of WBUR to Deliver Thomas More Lecture on Faith, Work and Civic Life at Holy Cross

WORCESTER, Mass. – Paul La Camera ’64, general manager of WBUR, will give the annual Thomas More Lecture at the College of the Holy Cross on Tuesday, Oct. 28 at 7:30 p.m. in the Rehm Library, located in Smith Hall. The lecture, sponsored by the Center for Religion, Ethics and Culture, is free and open to the public.

The Thomas More Lecture honors a graduate of Holy Cross who exemplifies the College’s dedication to the integration of faith and learning. The alumnus or alumna is invited to speak about his or her own profession, vocation, and the ethical opportunities and challenges faced there.

Prior to his work at WCVB-TV, La Camera was the director of communications for the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce and worked as a reporter for the Boston Record American and Sunday Advertiser.

La Camera is a board member of several organizations, including the Boston Foundation, the Boston Public Library Foundation, the United Way of Massachusetts Bay, the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, and the Board of Trustees at Holy Cross.
