NAME Theodore Cullinane ’14

HOMETOWN East Greenwich, R.I.

AREAS OF STUDY English major WHY HE CHOSE HOLY CROSS “I first became interested in Holy Cross after reading books by alums Bill Simmons ’92 and Dan Shaughnessy ’75. I have always loved to write and by reading these books, I found that a common link between these authors was Holy Cross. As high school progressed, I learned more about the school through some family members and friends that were attending. After my interview during my senior year, I knew that this was my favorite college, and no other school could compare. I applied early decision and was informed on my birthday that I was accepted.”

ACTIVITIES Prebusiness program, Crusaders for Children WHAT HE’S MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO “Meeting new people who share similar interests as me. I also look forward to improving myself as a student in not only my English classes, but also in other classes that will shape me as an adult.” WHY HE’S BLOGGING “I’ve always loved to write whether it is informally or formally. As a high school senior, I followed one of the Admissions blogs and found that it helped solidify my decision to come to Holy Cross. Blogging gives me opportunities to not only improve my writing, but to also inform prospective students about Holy Cross and what it has to offer.” Read the blog » Related Information:
