Holy Cross Names New Chief Investment Officer

Timothy Jarry ’00 has been named chief investment officer at the College of the Holy Cross. He officially began his new position on Jan. 1, 2011.

Jarry has worked at the College for the past seven years: two years as an investment analyst, two years as investment officer, and three years as associate chief investment officer. Jarry succeeds William Durgin, who retired in December, after 26 years at the College.

“I am extremely grateful to get the opportunity to succeed a true legend in Bill Durgin,” says Jarry. “As an alumnus of Holy Cross, serving as chief investment officer is a dream job that gives me the opportunity to use my skills to help provide the financial resources necessary to further the mission of the College.”

After graduating from Holy Cross, Jarry earned his M.S. in accounting and his M.B.A. from Northeastern University. A CPA and CFA Charterholder, he was named one of Worcester Business Journal's top 40 Under Forty in 2007.
