In an article for Worcester Business Journal about website redesign, Christian Santillo, assistant director for Web communications at the College of the Holy Cross, gives advice on how to best redesign a website. Based on his experience redesigning the College’s new, award-winning admissions website, Santillo offers tips to make the process run smoothly.
He says that setting a timeline, doing research on how people use the website, and keeping the redesign team on the same page were the most important keys to the success of site. He reminds people that even after launching the revamped site, the work and maintenance is never complete and “the key is using analytics to track the success and failures” of the new site.
