WHERE SHE’S INTERNING Coursey, along with fellow student Kelsey Smith '13, are helping Bridget Franco, assistant professor of Spanish, to create CINE-GLOS, an interactive web glossary of film terminology for Spanish and Latin American film. “I’ll be working primarily in the Multimedia Resource Center watching and editing movie clips that show specific cinematographic terms and techniques. The clips will be uploaded to a web database where we’ll add definitions and explanations in Spanish.”

ABOUT THE SUMMER RESEARCH PROGRAM For the second year in a row, a Mellon Foundation grant is funding student-faculty research projects in the humanities and social sciences. Faculty working in disciplines ranging from anthropology to classics to political science mentor students working on research over the nine-week summer program. Holy Cross also offers a highly successful summer research program for students in the natural sciences, mathematics, psychology and economics.
