AREAS OF STUDY Economics major with a concentration in Latin American and Latino Studies

WHERE HE’S INTERNING "As a legal clinic intern at Part of the Solution in the Bronx, N.Y., I will be assisting with client intake for eviction prevention and public benefits matters, preparing and participating in administrative hearings, and attending community based trainings in relevant areas of law. I will be working directly with the three attorneys on the staff of the legal clinic."

WHAT HE’S MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO "Having the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the various legal services offered by the organization while at the same time being able to help the members of the Bronx community. Additionally, I am extremely excited to live in Manhattan for the summer."

WHY HE’S BLOGGING "Blogging about my internship with Part of the Solution will allow me to reflect on my daily experiences while working and living in New York City, and give future students a chance to learn about the internship."

CAREER GOAL "To find a career that will permit me to utilize everything that I’ve learned over the years as a student at Holy Cross and one that will allow me to wake up every morning and truthfully say that I love what I’m doing."

ABOUT SIP Internships through the College’s Summer Internship Program are developed through the strong network of Holy Cross alumni, parents, and friends throughout the country and are earmarked and designed specifically for Holy Cross students. This year 150 students have internships at 146 sites offered through the program.
