AREAS OF STUDY Psychology major with environmental studies concentration, College Honors Program

WHERE HE’S STUDYING School for Field Studies in Yungaburra, Australia

WHY HE CHOSE AUSTRALIA "In my opinion, deforestation is one of the most devastating environmental issues in the world today. The SFS Australia program specifically focuses on conservation and rainforest management to protect and prevent the destruction of pristine rainforest ecosystems within Queensland." WHAT HE’S MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO "In addition to the scenery and exploring a different country, I am most looking forward to living in the rainforest, taking classes on socioeconomics and environmental policy, and conducting directed research on a topic of my choice." WHY HE'S BLOGGING "I decided to blog because I wanted other people to share in my experience: friends, family, Holy Cross faculty, and prospective students. Not many people know that SFS exists, so I want to show everyone what the program is all about."
